Since 2019 Studio Alluvium has partnered with chef Chris Bleidorn to create a custom line of tableware for his
San Francisco restaurant, Birdsong.
This series is made from several different Minnesota clays and many pieces are finished with a glaze developed using waste ashes from the restaurant’s wood-fired hearth.
This series conveys a shared interest in honoring place and the resources the Earth provides.
